Icona, an Italian design firm has just recently revealed the Vulcano at the 2013 Shanghai Motor Show.
After several teasers, Icona has finally pulled the wraps off the Vulcano which features many organic shapes, scoops, lines, and vents that look stunning to say the least. However what’s potentially more stunning is the potential performance numbers of the Icona Vulcano.
Power is provided by two available powertrains, a V6 dubbed the ”H-Competizione racing setup” and a much powerful V12 engine, called the “H-Turismo street version”. The H-Turismo version uses aFerrari-sourced 6.0 liter V12 that is paired with an 160 horsepower electric motor. The V12 is connected to a single-clutch automated gearbox that powers the rear-wheels. Icona claims a total combined output of 950 horsepower which translates to a 0-60 mph time in 3.0 seconds and a top speed of 217 mph (349 km/h).
