Say Hello To The LaFerrari

At the heart of the LaFerrari lies a 6.3-liter V-12 engine and a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. This results in 789 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 516 lb-ft of torque at 6,750. Ferrari didn’t stop there and they continued to add power by strapping on a electric motor, or otherwise known as a HY-KERS hybrid setup(Kinetic Energy Recovery System). The electric motor is good for additional 161 hp for a total of 950 hp and more 664 lb-ft of torque.

The LaFerrari can sprint from 0-60 in under 3 seconds, 0-186 (300 km/h) in 15 seconds, and reach a top speed of 217 mph ( 350 km/h). The hybrid system is not good for power but Ferrari also says that the LaFerrari will emit 330 g/km of CO2. The performance numbers rival that of the Lamborhini Veneno and almost identical numbers to the McLaren P1.
