Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe By KTW Tuning

The stock C63 AMG’s 6.2 liter V8 cranks out 451 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque, while the Black Series produces a total of 510 horsepower and 457 lb-ft of torque. So to bridge that gap, KTW tweaked the ”Black Daimler’s” as they call it, ECU and removed the Vmax limiter, unleashing all the power with no limits. Those two enchantments alone, gives the sports car 15 more ponies then the Black Series, for a total of 525 horsepower.

Lexus LF-LC Concept Gets The Okay For Production

Designed in California, the Lexus LF-LC Concept was debuted last year at the 2012 Detroit Auto Show with much success. It was such a hit that company officials have announced that they produce the LF-LC, according to Lexus’ vice-president of marketing Brian Smith while being interviewed by Wards Auto. He goes on to say that the LF-LC was originally released as a concept car only and when he received word that the car got the green light to enter production, he was as surprised at the rest of us.

2014 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28 Returns To The Market

First introduced in 1967, the Z/28 is arguably the most iconic Camaro model in history. Today, Chevrolet hoped to continue that great reputation and at first look it looks like they have succeeded.  The Camaro Z/28 will be less street focused and more track oriented than the current ZL1. A narrower front grill, new front splitter, flared fenders and rocker panels are new on the Z/28. Out the back is a new functional rear diffuser complete with a four-tailpipe exhaust system and a rear spoiler. The Z/28 weighs 300 pounds less than the ZL1, which in-turn improves handling and speed out on the track.

Are We Looking At The Subaru WRX Concept?

Subaru promised to bring an “all-new performance concept car” to the 2013 New York City Auto Show and we have reason to think that this may be it. The images surfaced today and from the license plate it looks like it could be the next generation WRX, from the Subaru Impreza styling, including the big hood scoop and the classic rally stance that we have come to aspect from a WRX. No specs or any other information was given. Word on the street is that Subaru wants to split the next WRX performance sedan from the Impreza range and create a separate line.

2014 Mercedes-Benz CLA 45 AMG Has Been Leaked

Good for us, as we get to see the A-Class based CLA 45 AMG a bit early. We aren’t positive of what is going to power the new CLA 45 AMG but from recent speculation we can expect that the same 2-liter, 4-cylinder turbocharged engine that’s in the A45, will be located in the AMG, which will power the car with 355 horsepower. The engine is matted to a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission that will power all wheels. The German car manufacture states that the CLA 45 AMG will run a 0-62 time of 4.6 seconds and will likely top out at 155 mph.

Ammonia Run Toyota GT86-R Eco Explorer By Marangoni

At the heart of the Toyota GT86-R Eco Explorer lies an NH3 engine system that allows the engine to run on ammonia at low speeds, making it very Eco friendly. The ammonia is stored in a separate tank and when it is being used the GT86 has zero emissions. Once you climb up to higher speeds though, the 2.0-liter four-cylinder petrol engine kicks in. Inside The Numbers: LaFerrari vs McLaren P1

Two of the most anticipated car launches of year were undoubtedly, the unveiling of the LaFerrari and the world debut of the McLaren P1, both at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show. These two super cars, not only carry a electric motor but have so much more in common. They both replace their companies flagship model that have stood for years – P1 replaces the F1, LaFerrari succeeds the Enzo.
They both stack some serious power, and both step into a new generation of hybrid technology that could possibly change the way super car manufactures build their cars. With that said, these twohybrid super cars also have many things that are different about each of them. One has rear-wheel drive while the other is all-wheel drive. And both have carbon fiber aero dynamic bodies but have very different exterior elements that give each car their own unique shape and design.

Say Hello To The LaFerrari

At the heart of the LaFerrari lies a 6.3-liter V-12 engine and a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. This results in 789 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 516 lb-ft of torque at 6,750. Ferrari didn’t stop there and they continued to add power by strapping on a electric motor, or otherwise known as a HY-KERS hybrid setup(Kinetic Energy Recovery System). The electric motor is good for additional 161 hp for a total of 950 hp and more 664 lb-ft of torque.

The LaFerrari can sprint from 0-60 in under 3 seconds, 0-186 (300 km/h) in 15 seconds, and reach a top speed of 217 mph ( 350 km/h). The hybrid system is not good for power but Ferrari also says that the LaFerrari will emit 330 g/km of CO2. The performance numbers rival that of the Lamborhini Veneno and almost identical numbers to the McLaren P1.
