Supercharged 2013 Maserati GranCabrio MC by Novitec Tridente

Out of the factory the Maserati Cabrio MC features a 4.7 liter V8 that cranks out a total of 460 and 424 lb-ft of torque. This is good for a 0-60 mph time of 4.9 seconds and a top speed of just under 180 mph (289 km/h). However Novitec didn’t think that was enough so they strapped on a supercharger, a water-cooled intercooler and two heat exchangers.

Vorsteiner introduces a styling program for the Bentley Continental GT that includes a new aerodynamic kit made in carbon fiber. The kit comes with a stylish front bumper complete with an air splitter and two large air intakes on both sides that increase engine cooling. Introduced in March in 2011 at the Geneva Motor Show, it only took two years for the popular Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 to achieve a production milestone of 2,000 units.

Bulgarian-based tuner, Vilner has official released their latest project for the Bentley Continental GT. 

This is one of Vilner’s most extensive projects and for a good reason. It took them 8 months from start to finish, which began when a client of theirs brought in his Bentley Continental GT which sported the classic Bentley Racing Green. Released in 2010, the Tycoon EVO M program for the 2010 BMW X6 M helped to give X6 M drivers get more out their performance crossover.  Since then BMW has revised and updated the X6 M and now its Hamann’s turn to do the same. 

The Hamann BMW X6 Tycoon II M program starts with a complete body kit featuring new customized side skirts, a new bumper spoiler complete with LED daytime running lights, extended wheel arches, a pair of rear spoilers and who couldn’t ignore that carbon fiber hood. Autoproject-D and DMC Lamborghini Aventador

Just recently Japanese tuning house, Autoproject-D took a tuned LP900 Molto Veloce Lamborghini Aventador and added some exterior features, making this kit even more unique. Autoproject-D added a carbon fiber redesigned spoiler sword, a carbon fiber front splitter and custom side skirts. Out the back there is a carbon fiber rear diffuser, an added tunnel system, and a rear wing spoiler. Considering Autoproject-D didn’t touch the engine I doubt the price for these components will be as heavy on ones wallet.

British racing and supercar manufacture, McLaren has announced limited edition models for the McLaren 12C and 12C Spider which happens to mark the company’s 50th Anniversary. From what we have see already this year with Lamborghini, special-edition models should come as no surprise.

Dubbed the McLaren 50 12C and 50 12C Spider, these two special-edition models’ upgrades were drawn up and designed by McLaren Special Operations (MSO), which handles the company’s bespoke projects.

Volkswagen Previews 503 HP GTI Design Vision Concept

At the heart of the GTI concept is a new 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged V6 gasoline engine that produces 503 horsepower and 413 lb-ft of torque. The power is sent to a dual-clutch DSG transmission that is transferred to all four wheels. What all this translates to is a 0-62 time of just 3.9 seconds and a claimed top speed of 186 mph (300 km/h). Stopping power comes from a set of ceramic brake discs that are hidden by 20-inch alloys with 235/35 front and 275/30 rear tires.

Special Edition Gold Nissan GT-R Presented to Usain Bolt

Usain Bolt received his GT-R yesterday at his training facility in Jamaica. The car was customized by both Nissan and Bolt, as he requesting a white interior, a Bose audio system, 10-spoke hyper titanium-finished forged Rays alloy wheels and of course a the exterior being finished off in gold and a “Spec Bolt” emblem. Hennessey Ford Taurus SHO Packs 435 HP

The folks at Hennessey took a stock 365 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque Ford Taurus SHO and added series of upgrades to the SHO’s 3.5-liter EcoBoost V-6 engine. The engine mods include a new dual cold-air induction system, new hard polished piping for the turbocharger, a Corsa stainless steel cat-back exhaust, complete with a returned ECU. The kit is called MaxBoost 445 and will ramp up SHO’s horsepower output to a total of 445 ponies. 0-60 mph has been recorded at 4.3 seconds which is insane for a large sedan like the Taurus.

SSC has announced they have completed testing of the Tuatara’s newly-developed twin-turbo V8 engine. The 6.9 liter V8 cranks out 350 hp and 1280 lb-ft of torque when running on premium 91 octane fuel. However what’s more impressive is that when you put in racing gasoline the horsepower bumps up to a whopping 1700 horsepower. The model is slowly inching closer to production.
